Empowering manufacturers, installers and maintenance teams to create, repair and upgrade conveyor systems on‑site with confidence and speed.
Conveyor Belting Services

Your One‑Stop Source for In‑House Belt Fabrication Tools

In today’s fast‑paced production environments, waiting for external specialists to fabricate or repair a conveyor belt can cause costly downtime. By equipping your workshop or plant with the right fabrication tools you gain:

  • Immediate response – Address wear, damage or layout changes the moment they arise.
  • Cost control – Reduce external service fees and minimise spare‑part inventory.
  • Quality consistency – Use the same standards and techniques that your OEM would apply.
  • Flexibility – Adapt belts to custom widths, materials and configurations that standard stock cannot meet.

CCBS Ltd supplies a comprehensive range of conveyor belt tools designed for both standard and specialised in‑house fabrication. Whether you run a food‑processing line, a packaging plant, a construction site or a waste‑treatment facility, our equipment lets you keep the belt moving – literally.

Some of the industries we supply conveyor belts to

Tool Portfolio

1. Fabrication Tools

Robust, precision‑engineered devices that enable you to cut, shape and finish belts of any width. Our selection includes:

  • Hot Presses – Adjustable temperature and pressure controls for reliable bonding of PVC, PU, steel‑cord and textile belts.
  • Welding Kits – Portable, battery‑operated welders for rapid seam creation on the shop floor or on‑site.
  • Cutting & Trimming Sets – High‑speed rotary cutters, edge‑trimmers and deburring tools that deliver clean, repeatable results.

2. Belt Preparing Tools

Preparation is the foundation of a strong joint. Our range equips you to:

  • Strip, clean and roughen surfaces with abrasive belts and surface‑treatment kits.
  • Align and tension sections using precision guides, ensuring a seamless finish before joining.

3. Belt Grippers

Safe handling of heavy or delicate belts is essential. Our ergonomic grippers provide:

  • Secure, non‑slip grip on rubber, fabric and steel‑cord belts.
  • Quick‑release mechanisms for fast change‑overs without compromising safety.

4. Mechanical Fastener Installation Tools

When bolts, clamps or rivets are the preferred method, our toolset includes:

  • Impact drivers with torque‑control features.
  • Riveting guns and pneumatic clamp‑setters designed for belt‑specific hardware.

5. Habasit Polycord Joining Kit

A proven, industry‑standard solution for joining poly‑cord‑reinforced belts. The kit contains:

  • Polycord splicing plates, adhesive applicators and temperature‑controlled heating blocks.
  • Detailed instructions that meet Habasit’s certification requirements.

6. Habasit Guiderails for PQ58 & PQ59

Specialised guiderails that assist in aligning and supporting belts during installation and maintenance, compatible with the most widely used PQ58 and PQ59 belt profiles.

Three Proven Belt‑Joining Techniques

  1. Hot‑Press Bonding – Ideal for PVC, PU and fabric‑backed belts. The combination of heat and pressure creates a homogeneous weld that retains the original tensile strength.

  2. Mechanical Fastening – Suited to heavy‑duty steel‑cord belts where a permanent, removable joint is required. Fasteners distribute load evenly, preventing stress concentrations.

  3. Polycord Splicing – A specialised method for poly‑cord‑reinforced belts, delivering a joint that matches the original cord‑strength and flexibility.

Each technique is supported by dedicated Tools and Hot Presses from our catalogue, giving you the freedom to select the most appropriate method for the material, width and operating conditions of your conveyor.

Types of Heavy-Duty Conveyor Belting we can supply

Conveyor Belting Fabrication Tools

Quickmelt joining devices

Hot-pressing device for joining thermoplastic belts. For maximum flexibility, the working temperature can be set via a trimmer control. Specifically designed for machine tapes and spindle tapes.

Die-cutting devices

Manual scissor tool for preparation of 8x30 Flexproof geometry on thermoplastic belts up to 100 mm wide and 2 mm thick. Ideal for machine tapes and spindle tape

Guide Rail Sets

Cooling Devices

The CD-60 is a cooling tong for use in the Quickmelt and Flexproof joining systems. The belt is joined in a guide rail, fixed with two spring clips and welded in a hot-pressing device. After welding the guide rail with the belt is transferred to the CD-60 cooling tong to cool the belt down under a predetermined pressure

Cutting Scissors

Manual scissors for cutting flat belts, up to 40 mm wide and 3 mm thick. Marks on the cutting bed allow angled cuts. Designed for machine tapes, requiring Quickmelt joining.

Guide Rails

When using hot-pressing tools, to properly position the belt ends and obtain a perfect joining result, specific guide rails have been designed for our PQ-60, PF-62 and PF-100S devices. A large choice of fixed-width guide rails is available, and if you are looking for high flexibility (or minimal on-site setup) Adjustable versions are also available.

Preparting Tools

The AT-60 is a preparation device for skiving of Habasit belts and tapes. The belt is clamped and stuck to a steel plate. It is ground manually by means of a grinding disk. Adjustment to belt thickness is possible in two steps. The AT-60 is especially suitable for occasional preparation of single belts or spindle tapes on site in maintenance.
